How to create war package from command line

It is possible to create, modify and extract a war package from command line using the following commands.
First step, create a new war package with:

1	jar -cvf mywebapp.war myproject

Now you can modify the war already created with:

1	jar -uvf mywebapp.war myproject

Instead to extract the files from war:

1	jar -xvf mywebapp.war
